REVIEW AND GIVEAWAY – Raisels

My kids love their snacks, especially TJ. While he likes fruit, he doesn’t rush for it like he will candy. He doesn’t care much for raisins. It isn’t that he hates them, it’s just that they are rather predictable and unexciting. His favorite type of candy is sour candy, he loves the stuff! When I was recently offered the opportunity to try a new snack called Raisels I accepted because I was curious how they would taste and if my son would like them.

MY THOUGHTS

I like raisins but tire of them after a bit. I am not a big fan or sour things.  I received samples of four flavors – Sour Peach Pucker, Sour Lemon Blast, Sour Apple TKO and Sour Orange Burst. Watermelon is the next flavor that will be added to the line. I found that the Raisels weren’t so sour that I didn’t like them, except for the Lemon which puckered up my face so bad at work my friend laughed at me for five minutes. Unexpectedly, my favorite is the Peach Pucker, followed by the Sour Apple TKO and the Sour Orange Burst. I like that they come in individual boxes, making them great for travel and lunchboxes alike. Plus, the portion size is great – each box only contains 110 calories!
