REVIEW AND GIVEAWAY – Kraft Macaroni & Cheese Veggie Pasta – With Printable Coupon

Macaroni & cheese is a favorite here, especially with my 15 year old, who is not overly fond of most vegetables. Recently I was offered the opportunity to try Kraft’s newest Macaroni & Cheese – Kraft Macaroni & Cheese Veggie Pasta. I was curious how it would taste, and how it would be received by my son.

New KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese Dinner Veggie Pasta has the great taste of KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese that kids and adults love, now with a half serving of vegetables* per one cup of product.  (*The equivalent of a 1/2 serving (1/4 cup) of cauliflower per cup of product.)

MY THOUGHTS

I received samples of both varieties of Kraft Macaroni & Cheese Veggie Pasta. It’s available in two varieties – Original and Three Cheese. A few nights ago I prepared the Original. It’s easy to make, no different than the regular Kraft Mac & Cheese you’re used to making. The new veggie pasta in original turned out to be just as creamy and smooth and looked to be the same color as regular mac & cheese. I hadn’t wondered so much about the appearance as the taste – neither my son nor I like cauliflower, which is the vegetable baked into the pasta. I was shocked, and pleasantly surprised, to find that I didn’t taste the cauliflower. Neither did my son, who I didn’t even tell it was there afterwards, just to be safe. Thumbs up for this product, for making mac & cheese a bit healthier for us and for getting a food in there we don’t like without us having to taste it.
