$10.81 24 oz. tray, serves 2Hearty classic baked ziti, tossed with a 3-cheese combination of Ricotta, Parmesan and Mozzarella, smothered in flavorful rich tomato sauce. Bake it in the oven until golden brown and bubbling hot, and enjoy a dish, just like Grandma’s homemade!

MY THOUGHTS
I received the Fresco By Scotto Baked Ziti as well as Five Cheese Garlic French Bread, MicroSteam Baby Broccoli Florets and Chocolate Ice Cream. I’d never had food delivered from Schwan’s before and was quite impressed to find that everything was as it should be – frozen. The meal was super easy to prepare, just the way I like it after a busy long day at work and running around. The Baked Ziti can be made in the oven or microwave. We used the oven as we were also making the garlic bread. The broccoli was really easy to make, all I had to do was put it in the microwave to steam for a couple of minutes. We really enjoyed the Baked Ziti, we found it to be tasty and cheesy, and the sauce wasn’t overly acidic. I would have liked to see a slightly larger portion size. The garlic bread was outstanding and probably the best garlic bread I have ever tried. The combination of the five cheeses on the crusty yet tender bread was delicious! I really like the packaging of the garloic bread, each of the six pieces was individually wrapped. The broccoli was tender, something that doesn’t always happen when you steam a food in the microwave. The ice cream was good too but we hardly had the chance to have any before TJ gobbled it up.
MORE INFO
Other products in the Fresco by Scotto line include:
Fresco By Scotto® Penne Gratin
Penne Gratin, otherwise known as “Penne from Heaven” is our version of macaroni and cheese. Penne pasta is coated in heavy cream and prosciutto (Italian-cured ham), then topped with real Parmesan cheese. Bake it in the oven until golden brown and bubbling hot. It is one of our most heavenly dishes.
Fresco By Scotto® Penne alla Vodka with Chicken
This dish is penne pasta tossed in a rich, creamy tomato vodka sauce and topped with marinated chicken. Bake in the oven until bubbling hot and serve with a pile of breadsticks.
Fresco By Scotto® Baked Pasta with Spinach & Mushrooms
If you are craving something gooey and cheesy, this dish is for you. It is the kind of dish where baked pasta is perfectly paired with garden spinach and mushrooms, and the Ricotta, Mozzarella and tomato sauce melt in your mouth in perfect harmony.
Fresco By Scotto® Fusilli with Seasoned Vegetables
Fusilli pasta, also known as spiral or corkscrew pasta, is tossed with a classic flavorful butter sauce seasoned with hints of tomato, garlic and onion. We add premium, seasonal broccoli, carrots, peas, mushrooms and butternut squash to complete this light dish. After heating, sprinkle with the provided parmesan cheese packet for a warm and delightful meal.
Fresco By Scotto® Eggplant & Zucchini Pie
(Seasonal Offering)
One of the most unique and popular dishes served at Fresco by Scotto, will soon be a family favorite of yours too. We layer breaded eggplant cutlets and hearty zucchini slices with rich ricotta, mozzarella and parmesan cheese – and top it all with a classic red sauce. When heated, the cheesy, ooey goodness will bring smiles to the whole family.
