I like to serve quiche at brunch! I use a universal recipe with whatever I have on hand: Milk, eggs, chopped vegetables, like broccoli, shredded cheddar or another variety of cheese and some type of meat if it’s already cooked! Quiche is really easy to make and everybody loves it!

Our families favorite is French Toast, bacon and juice, topped off with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. It is the most asked for when strawberries are in season.

My favorite brunch recipe is an Easy Cream Cheese Danish
Easy Cream Cheese Danish
2 Cans crescent roll dough
2 8oz packages cream cheese, diced at room temperature
3/4 cup white sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons sour cream
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9×13 baking pan or line with parchment paper.
Unroll 1 can of the dough on waxed paper on the counter, being careful to unroll it as one piece whenever possible. Pinch ends of the folds together sealing the seams together. Transfer to baking pan
In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice, vanilla extract and sour cream. Mix well with mixer until creamy. Spread filling on top of the dough
Unroll second can of dough, try to keep it together as much as possible. Place on top of the cream cheese mixture, pinching seams and edges together to make one solid crust.
Bake in preheated oven 20-30 minutes until golden brown.
You can make a couple of different toppings for the danish
1. Melt 1 stick butter and pour over warm rolls, then apply thin coat of sugar across the top.
2. Combine 1 cup powdered sugar, 1 tablespoon milk, 1 tablespoon softened butter. Make a thin glaze adding more milk if necessary. Drizzle over top of danish.
You can also add 1 small can drained, crushed pineapple, or other fruit of choice, to the filling. The possibilities are endless!!
