REVIEW AND GIVEAWAY – Momcepts Grocery Shopping Organization Gadgets

Do you wish you had a bigger cart when you shopped? I know there have been times that I wished shopping carts were bigger. I mean, after all, my purse takes up the seat portion of the basket. Did you ever go to the grocery store and see someone shopping that was dropping all of their coupons? I have used coupon holders for a while but there was still the problem of what to do with them fter I took them out of their organizer. Momcepts has some products that have helped my trips to the grocery store be a lot more organized – the Koala Pouch, the Koalabiner Purse Hanger and the List Caddy.

From Momcepts – The Koala Pouch shopping organizer is a nylon pouch which wraps over the shopping cart handle and fastens with velcro. It has a rear zipper pocket which holds 2 compact reusable shopping bags (included). The front zipper pocket comes with tabbed dividers for organizing coupons, and the front clear pocket can hold a mobile phone, Blackberry, or iPhone. Finally, there’s a handy pen sleeve on the front and a plastic utility clip attached to the side.

The Koala Pouch retails for $14.95 and is available for purchase online at Amazon.

From Momcepts – The Koalabiner purse hanger is a carabiner style clip designed to hang your purse from the handle of a shopping cart or baby stroller so you do not have to carry it on your shoulder or leave it in the cart basket while you are shopping. You can also use the Koalabiner to hang a diaper bag from your stroller handle. The Koalabiner offers a more secure way to hold your purse than placing in the cart basket, because the latch of the Koalabiner closes around the handle, preventing your purse from being easily removed. The Koalabiner is made of lightweight, but strong, aluminum and makes an attractive accessory for your purse or bag.

The Koalabiner Purse Hanger retails for $4.95 and is available for purchase online at Amazon.

From Momcepts – The patented List Caddy shopping list and coupon holder is designed to make life easier for the shopper. It holds your list and coupons clipped to the shopping cart handle for easy viewing and use while you are in the store. It can also organize your shopping list and coupons at home, in the kitchen. It can stand on it’s own on a counter or table and it has magnets on the back for attaching to the refrigerator. Plus, it has many other uses! It can hold recipes for you while you are cooking and baking. It can attach a gift note to the neck of a wine bottle (or gourmet olive oil, balsamic vinegar, liquor, etc.). It can be used to hold name place cards or menus for dinner events. There are many other potential creative uses!

The List Caddy retails for $1.99 and is available for purchase online at Amazon.

I received one of each of the above items. I do use coupons when I shop. As I pick up my items I hold the coupon for that item in one hand. Problem is I drop them all the time, because I don’t have enough hands. Now as I shop I take the coupon out of the organizer and put it into the List Caddy. The List Caddy is easy to use, just clip it to the handle of your shopping cart. I’ve always kept my purse in the seat portion of the basket. When I have CJ in the big basket that doesn’t leave me a lot of room for food. The Koalabiner keeps my purse securely attached to the cart while keeping it out of the cart. The Koala Pouch Shopping Organizer is good but I’d like to see a few more options offered. It comes with only four notecards – that’s really not enough. My coupons are sorted with about fourteen notecards.  I’d like to an option for more notecards to sort the coupons, although you can make your own with notecards. I myself have about seven reusable shopping bags, I wish the pouch was a bit larger so that it would hold them all.

The list caddy sounds great! I’m always dropping my coupons because I try and hold them in two piles with one hand. I usually grocery shop with 3 little boys so I need my hands free to avoid them destroying any grocery store displays!
