Nature's Peak Frozen Fruit Review – With Giveaway
By valmg on Jan 13, 2010 with Comments 25

You like fruit, don’t you? That commercial always made me laugh.
We love fruit in my house. Our favorites are, unfortunately for us, seasonal fruits. I adore strawberries. They are my favorite fruit of all, followed by watermelon and then green grapes. RB and CJ love melons and peaches. As we are in the midst of winter here on the Jersey shore I can’t get my favorite fruits in the product department. We do still eat fruit but it seems that we eat more fruit when we can eat our favorites. I guess it’s that way with a lot of foods. Anyway. Recently I was offered the opportunity to try some frozen fruit by Nature’s Peak, which I gladly accepted.
About Nature’s Peak
A line of premium frozen fruit that is just as nutritious as fresh fruit – no sugar added. Nature’s PeakTM frozen fruit is individually quick frozen at the peak of ripeness to preserve its vibrant color, aroma, and delicious flavor – ideal for whipping up delicious, healthy smoothies and desserts at home, any time of the year. Nature’s PeakTM frozen fruit is a premium frozen fruit line that is committed to offering the highest quality and best tasting fruit to our consumers. This commitment requires a journey that begins with the premium fruit, picked at the peak of ripeness. Our fruit is then flash frozen to lock-in the wholesome goodness that is only found in vine ripened fruit. This process preserves the flavor, color and nutrients until it is ready to be consumed by you.
I received two bags of Nature’s Peak – one Sun Ripened Trio (Strawberries, Mango, and Peaches) and one Sunburst Mango. I was surprised at how colorful and fresh the fruit looked. I was even more surprised at how juicy it was, as well as how delicious and fresh it tasted. I expected to taste that aftertaste some frozen foods have but this tasted as good as any fresh fruit I’ve ever had. I really like that the fruit is already chunked and packaged in a resealable bag, and has no sugar added. This fruit would be good for baking, smoothies, as a topping or just to eat.
I’m planning on picking up the Berry Quartet next. I found a recipe on the Nature’s Peak site that sound super simple and super tasty.
