Four Foods On Friday 121

I’m back from vacation! I was thinking it might be fun to try Four Foods On Friday a little differently. I’m going to list four ingredients. Share a meal or recipe that you could make using those ingredients. I’ll be creating a dish using the ingredients and sharing it in another post here. Maybe we can all get some new ideas or improve our recipes. Here’s the four ingredients.

  • Potatoes
  • Ground beef
  • Green beans
  • Soup, your choice of type

    Funny thing, last night I made meatloaf with ground sirloin beef, mashed potatoes from a box, and out of green beans served frozen peas and carrots. While the family ate dinner, I enjoyed some creamy corn with pepper soup from Trader Joe’s (hubby refuses any soup whatsoever).

    Hmmmm…we rarely eat ground beef. I haven’t thought of a recipe yet but am interested to see what other people come up with.

    How’s this sound? Vegetable soup as an appetizer, cooked ground beef and cooked potatoes made into a hash with french-cut green beans as your veggie,
