2010 HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE – Swiss Colony

Prior to receiving this item I’d only seen and heard of Swiss Colony, never tried them. When offered the opportunity to browse through their catalog and choose an item to sample, it took me a good half hour to decide. Each item looks tastier then the one before it so it was hard for me to make upmy mind. In the end I chose the Reindeer Torte. I chose it because we love chocolate and this looked chocolately. Well, boy was it chocolatey! The cake arrived looking exactly as pictured, not even an ornament or eye dented or missing. The mixed layers of fudge and chocolate cake tasted better than I expecred. It was super moist and super rich. RB and I enjoyed sampling it together, I with cold milk and he with coffee. My oldest son saw it and said that it was the nicest looking chocolate cake he’d ever seen.
