Progresso High Fiber Soup Review And Giveaway
By valmg on Oct 31, 2009 with Comments 79

We love soup. In the winter I enjoy making soup over the weekend. It heats the house with a yummy aroma and it’s tasty. I also like to keep cans of it in the house for quick meals and snacks. Progresso is something you frequently find in my cabinet. Progresso recently added a line to their family, Progresso High Fiber Soup.
From the website – Progresso’s new High Fiber line offers four great-tasting varieties, all with no added MSG*, no artificial flavors and seven grams of fiber per serving. With 28% of the recommended daily value of fiber per serving, Progresso High Fiber soups will make it easy for you to get more fiber in your diet as part of a wholesome, satisfying meal.
Progresso High Fiber Soup is available in four varieties – Creamy Tomato Basil, Hearty Vegetable Noodle, Homestyle Minestrone and Chicken Tuscany. I received a sample of the new Progresso High Fiber Chicken Tuscany Soup to try from MyBlogspark, along with two cool Progresso soup mugs and spoons. I asked TJ and RB to try it with me. We all liked the soup but for different reasons. RB liked it because it was full of vegetables. TJ liked it because the broth was flavorful, not bland like some soups. I liked it because the taste and texture reminded me very much of homemade soup. Fiber is very important to the digestive system. It’s one of the things that I need since surgery. I look for foods that provide me with what I need and this soup is a tasty way for me to add the fiber that I need to my diet. I’m really looking forward to trying the Creamy Tomato Basil.

WIN IT!
One winner will receive a prize pack including two branded soup mugs, two branded spoons, and a can of Progresso Chicken Tuscany soup.

Eat more split pea soup! or bean with bacon— both are good sources of fiber.
I tried some of that fiber supplement, and it is okay and doesn’t really change the taste of the food, but it is a pain to remember to carry it around and add it to stuff. This soup sounds great.
I’ve been trying to eat veggies with every meal (I was grown up avoiding vegetables!). I also eat high fiber cereal for breakfast.
I eat an apple everyday, eat brown rice with black beans, eat alot of vegetables and my favorite thing to eat is homemade vegetable soup that has tons of fresh vegetables, beans made with low sodium broth.
