Klosterman Baking Company, a family-owned bakery headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, is launching the first annual “Family Secret Recipe Contest.” Throughout the month of November, consumers across the Midwest are encouraged to submit an original recipe, via Klosterman’s Facebook page, using any variety of Klosterman bread for a chance to win free Klosterman bread for a year. Three grand prize winners will be chosen and their original recipes will be featured on Klosterman’s web site, www.KlostermanBakery.com, Facebook fan page and the company’s blog, A Slice of Life.

Klosterman Baking Company’s search for consumers’ original bread-based recipes will allow bread lovers to get creative in the kitchen. Ten finalists will be chosen from recipes in three categories:

The finalists will be judged on flavor, appeal and creativity and the top recipe in each category will be deemed the winner and awarded with four loaves of Klosterman bread, sent monthly for a year.
