FOOD FESTIVAL – Make Your Own Soda With SodaStream – With Giveaway
By valmg on Aug 20, 2009 with Comments 162

Lots of people love soda, including many members of my family. The thing is that even on sale the cost of soda can really add up. More than a year ago we were introduced to SodaStream Soda-Club, a company offering home carbonation machines and ingredients for making your own soda and seltzer.
Soda-Club’s line of on-demand soda machines (http://www.sodaclubusa.com ) come with reusable carbonating bottles, which can help eliminate thousands of bottles and cans from clogging landfills and cost less then supermarket soda.
Did you ever try a bottled or canned soda and think that it would be just right IF? Maybe you thought it would be better with stronger flavor. Or maybe you thought the flavor was too much. The best feature of these machines is that you control everything about the flavor – how much soda mix you put in and how much carbonation it has. Soda-Club’s drink mixes are HFCS-free and contain 2/3 less carbs, calories and sugar than store-bought soda. They’re also now offering MyWater, all-natural flavor essences for making flavored seltzer.
More than 25 regular, diet, energy and caffeine-free flavors are available for purchase. Each 500ml soda mix bottle makes the equivalent of 12 liters (about 33 cans!) of soda. Regular soda mix contains no high fructose corn syrup and diet soda mix contains no aspartame. All-natural MyWater flavor essences are unsweetened and calorie-free.
The other great thing about Soda-Club soda machines is that besides allowing you to make soda at home they also give you the chance to make a positive impact on our environment.
So who wants to make some soda?
