Edward's Singles Review And Giveaway
By valmg on Aug 30, 2009 with Comments 51

With increasingly busy schedules and tightened wallets, Edwards® Singles a La Modes are an easy and affordable way to enjoy a delicious dessert from your home.
Edwards® Singles A La Modes are a new single-serving dessert that go from microwave to mouth-watering in under one minute. Edwards® Singles A La Modes are available in three varieties including Hot Fudge Brownie, Hot Turtle Brownie and Hot Apple Crisp. Each dessert includes a bowl of premixed brownie batter or apple crisp that bakes hot in the microwave for 45 seconds, and is then topped with cold, creamy ice cream. This indulgent treat is located in the frozen pie section of your grocers’ freezers for a suggested retail price of $2.89.
We’ve tried Edwards desserts before, specifically the big Cookies and Cream pies. Both RB and I LOVE them because they are fresh and yummy. Edwards also makes Singles desserts, which is a pair of desserts that require you do nothing but heat and eat. We tried the Hot Fudge Brownie With Creamy Ice Cream Single.

The Edward’s Hot Fudge Brownie With Creamy Ice Cream Single contains two cups of brownie mix and two cups of ice cream.

To cook the brownies you just put them in the microwave for 35 seconds or so.

Next you put the ice cream on top of the brownie and you’re ready to eat. The flavor is really good. The warmth of the brownie makes the hot fudge gooey and the ice cream just right. We loved the flavor of this dessert. I thought there was just enough vanilla ice cream, hot fudge and brownie to mix all together for a slightly warm and delicious treat. What I really liked about this dessert it’s just the right size for anyone that just wants a little treat that doesn’t have the need for a whole pie.
