What I learned from Four Foods On Friday 56

These were this week’s four questions.
#1. What’s the worst tasting food you’ve ever eaten?
#2. Share a funny or embarassing story about a meal you’re made.
#3. What food do you burn or have problems cooking most often?
#4. Name two foods you’ll be eating on this Thanksgiving.
My answers.
#1. Hmm. Many foods, difficult to answer. Probably fish.
#2. My homemade Chinese food disaster.
#3. Eggs over easy. I always break my yolks.
#4. Turkey and mashed potatoes. How do you make mashed potatoes?
Here’s what I learned in this week’s Four Foods On Friday.
Most folks are having turkey.
Skeet thinks cabbage and okra are nasty.
Fiona thinks sea urchin and parsnips are the worst tasting things she’s ever eaten.
Anele doesn’t even like the words caraway seeds.
Elegance, Food and Wine thinks squid is yucky.
Clair thinks innards are unappetizing. Hope you find your turkey!
Kari thinks sushi tastes terrible.
Elizabeth thinks stuffing cooked in the bird tastes awful. She shared recipes for Grand Marnier Sweet Potatoes and Grandma Culver’s Black Cherry Jello Salad.
Charla can’t remember what the worst tasting food she’s ever had is.
TypO has had some rubbery crocodile on several occasions.
Sue thinks anchovies are the worst things she’s ever tasted.
Karen thinks burnt tomato soup tastes bad.
The Salad Caper doesn’t like slimy foods.
Corrin has managed to avoid bad tasting foods.
Blueyes thinks cabbage is the worst thing she’s ever tasted.
Amy thinks brussel sprouts and beets are the worst things she’s ever tasted.
Lydia has had some dolma that tasted like cigarettes. Lydia is a new player. Welcome Lydia!
MemeGRL thinks hamloaf and mincemeat pie are the worst things she’s ever tasted.
Donna thinks tofu is the worst thing she’s ever tasted.
Kelly thinks Walden Farms fat free, calorie free peanut butter is the worst thing she’s ever tasted.
Pinaymama thinks mustard sauce is the worst thing she’s ever tasted.
Ginny thinks canned beets are the worst things she’s ever tasted. Ginny’s a new player. Welcome Ginny!
That’s it for this week. Thanks for being such a good sport about me being so late to my own party the last couple of weeks. No round up next weekend due to the holidays but there is a new set of questions up now if you want to use Mr Linky. Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
