What I learned from Four Foods On Friday 50

 This weeks questions were:

#1. Pasta. How do you tell when it’s done? Do you cook on medium or high?
#2. Deep frying. What kind of oil do you use?
#3. Grilling. Do you grill on foil or directly on the grill?
#4. Share a recipe that involves cooking something two different ways.Example, for lasagna you might fry the meat and bake the whole dish.

My answers.

#1. I’m usually in a rush so I cook it on high and I eat a piece to see if it’s done.
#2. We have a deep fryer we have never used. Hubby was going to use it this week and we disagreed on what to cook the food in. I told hubby we should use shortening. He said vegetable oil. I told him I’d check with the experts, LOL.
#3. Hubby grills directly on the grill.
#4. Lasagna.
